The venue is obviously bound by governmental law and we should expect them to uphold these laws. Especially these Covid laws tend to change a lot so we cannot guarantee that the rules are not changed on the day of our wedding. What we do know is that the current rules are that everybody will need to be able to show either a negative test or proof of vaccination. Therefore we advice everybody to be prepared for the possibility that staff members can be validating your documents.

We kindly ask you to not take any pictures or make any videos during the ceremony that will start at 16:00 PM on the 9th of April. We have a professional photographer that will capture this special moment already. And we want to prevent that in these pictures the audience is looking at their phones instead of focusing on the ceremony. Please feel free to make pictures and video during the others moments at our wedding. You can also share your media on this website even after the wedding. This way we can collect all of our memories with you into one place so we all can enjoy this great day when we are relaxed on our honeymoon.

Please let us know beforehand if we need to keep into account possible allergies you might have. In this case we could check if we maybe could make some special arrangements. The food will be traditional Portuguese.

We understand that some of you would like to bring a date, a friend or another family member. But we are on a budget and we have to be strict in allowing only the people that are on the invitation card. We will assess this on a per person basis but please keep in mind that we do not appreciate uninvited or unannounced guests.

After our wedding we are going to travel for a longer period of time. We do not have a house for ourselves yet. This means that any gift that we cannot bring with us to travel will be stored in Portugal and has to be shipped to whatever country we will land eventually. For this reason we would just want to make it easy for all of us. If you have it on your heart to give us something then we would recommend to give us money. This is the most useful for us as it is easy to carry and helps us with the traveling costs.
